How I Work

These perspectives inform my approach and offer a range of tools we can draw from together as we collaborate on your growth and healing.

Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC)

This approach combines mindfulness with self-kindness, helping you respond to your struggles with warmth and understanding rather than self-criticism. It’s about learning to treat yourself like you would a dear friend — especially during difficult moments.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

ACT helps you accept what’s outside of your control while committing to actions that align with your values. It encourages psychological flexibility — allowing space for difficult thoughts and feelings while moving toward a meaningful life.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

IFS is based on the idea that we all have different “parts” within us — like inner protectors, critics, or wounded parts. This gentle, non-pathologizing model helps you build a compassionate relationship with those parts so healing can happen from the inside out.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

CBT focuses on the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It helps you identify and shift unhelpful patterns so you can respond to life’s challenges in more balanced and empowering ways.

Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy uses focused relaxation and guided imagery to access your inner wisdom and create positive change. It can be especially helpful for things like anxiety, sleep, habits, and emotional healing — all while you’re safely in control and aware.
